Uyaguari Guitars
Luis Enrique Uyaguari and his son Pablo Andres, represent the 3rd and 4th generation of their family's long tradition of guitar makers. Their instruments are praised for their rich dynamic range, projection, diversity of colors, and great harmonic sustain. Since 1925, generations of this Ecuadorian family have been perfecting the art of guitar making and crafting high end instruments for musicians around the world.
"The materials we use for building our guitars are of outstanding quality, we build our instruments with wood passed to us from generation to generation, some with more than 70 years of curing time giving it the acoustic properties necessary for building guitars. Our experience and knowledge allows us to combine different types of wood in order to obtain the perfect sound and tone that will match our costumer's needs and preferences. Our guitars are crafted entirely by hand, being the strings and pegs the only accessories that we acquire. In order to provide the best quality, we limit our production building only 15 guitars per year. In some cases a single instrument may take us over a year to finish. A unique and distinctive feature of our brand is the rosette. In contrast to other makers that stick to a single design, we rarely repeat the same rosette. We work closely with our costumers in order to create a personalized and unique design allowing creativity to be a defining factor in the creation of our instruments."
Their guitars are the result of the passion and knowledge of four generations of luthiers and almost a hundred years of constant work, dedication and commitment to the guitar community.
